Based in HIlversum/Utrecht, SERVALS combines noise and musicality in a dynamic mix of raw posthardcore and noiserock. With guitars that joust and slither, creating music that spans from small and melancholic to emotional explosions of sound and catharsis, until there is nothing left but sweat, feedback and broken strings.

Inspired by bands like Fugazi, Slint, At the Drive-in, Unwound and Sonic Youth, SERVALS has played with acts like Dear Omen, Mannequin Death Squad, Clitteband, Ioana Iorgu, Karnabahar, Aquelarre* and more.

Servals started out with Carlos, Ralph, Aris and Stefan. Carlos’ arpeggios and midwest emo leanings complemented Ralph’s more noise rock and post-punk inspired riffs and the strong interaction with Aris’ drumming. After a while Carlos left the band and Jasper (also known of Crashing) joined the band adding more grit and explosiveness to the band. With renewed energy we’re continuously writing more, playing more and recording demos aiming to record an EP and play more shows, louder and wilder then before.
